1. A candidate seeking admission to the college in the first year Higher Secondary class / TDC class must apply on the prescribed form obtained from the College office on payment, within the last date of submission. The date of submission of filled up forms and interview for selection will be notified in the local dailies and the college notice board
. No application will be received after the last date.
2. An applicant can submit only one application form for a particular stream.
3. The form, if found incomplete on scrutiny, will be summarily rejected.
4. A candidate will have to submit a photocopy of the mark sheet of the qualifying examination, duly attested, with the application form. No other document is required with the application.
5. A candidate must produce the following documents in original at the time of admission:
- Mark sheet and Admit Card of the last qualifying examination.
- Two copies of recent passport-size photograph.
- A certificate from the Head of the institution last attended, testifying her character.
- Caste Certificate from the competent authority wherever necessary.
- Anti-ragging – an undertaking from guardians and students regarding ragging mst be submitted in the prescribed format at the time of admiossion.
6. Students passing the qualifying examination earlier than the current year will have to submit a gap certificate from any of the following, whichever is applicable:
- The Head of the Institution last attended.
- Officer in-charge of the nearest Police Station.
- Govt. Gazetted Officer testifying her activities during the interim period.
- Medical Certificate from the Govt. Medical Officer on genuine medical grounds.
7. Admission to the College and the hostel takes place on the same day. Hostel seats will be allotted strictly on merit (see Hostel Rules). Necessary payment for the purpose will have to be made on the same day.
8. HS and TDC First year students, who fail to get promoted to the next higher class in one sitting, may also apply for admission along with the fresh applicants. However, if the student is unsuccessful in three attempts, she will not be considered for admission again.
9. There is provision for reservation of seats for students belonging to SC, ST (P) ST (H), OBC and MOBC categories as per Govt. rules. These seats will be allotted to candidates on the basis of original certificates issued by the competent authority. A few seats are also reserved for physically handicapped students.
10. If a forged document submitted by a candidate is detected even after admission, the admission will stand cancelled.
11. The Admission Committee has every right to refuse admission if the candidate fails to produce the original documents at the time of admission.
12. A candidate must face the interview personally at the time of admission. However, if due to unavoidable reasons, the candidate can not turn up, her guardian may represent her.
13. Fees once paid are not refundable.
14. No change in the combination of subjects (in both Arts & Science streams) will be allowed after the admission process is over.
